The following are ways we receive individuals for membership:

BAPTISM

      Upon the public profession of your personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, you may present yourself for membership as a candidate for baptism by immersion.

LETTER

If you are a member of another Baptist Church, you may transfer your membership to this church.

FROM ANOTHER DENOMINATION

If you are a member of a church another denomination; you may move your membership here. Anyone having been baptized by any method other than immersion would come into this fellowship in an act of re commitment as a candidate to be baptized by immersion.

STATEMENT

If you are a Christian baptized by immersion, you may join this church upon the statement of your faith even if records for your church membership elsewhere are not available.

WATCH CARE

Some people have a need to maintain membership in their present church, but may still wish to have a formal affiliation with this church. First Baptist Church is pleased to establish such a relationship. This option is especially appealing to local college students. The Weekday Preschool follows a school calendar with holidays, which in most cases coincides with the Baldwin County Public School calendar. The Weekday Preschool Education Program is half-day in length (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) with the school day beginning at 8:30 am.

Jehovah's Witnesses had their modern-day start in the 1870's. 

At first, they were called Bible Students. But in 1931 they adopted the Scriptural name Jehovah's Witnesses.

 Most congregations hold meetings in a Kingdom Hall. 

These are usually simple structures built by Witness volunteers. You will not see any images, crucifixes, or things like these at the Kingdom Hall. Expenses are paid for by voluntary donations.
